Literature Text

If you were to ask me
Just when do I sleep
I would tell you never
Not even as a child

My body needs cleaning
My hair drips with grease
From the look in my eyes
You would think I was wild

My brain is no better
As frayed as my ends
Ten years of thought and growth
Yet both are feeling worn

Both can feel the pressure
At least my hair bends
My brain is more willful
Unchanged since I was born

The patterns are the same
Some small details change
Isolate and devour
Speak with the voice of doubt

Dispersions are my gift
Deftly I derange
To place your trust in me
Is to turn inside out

I can only focus
On that which I burn
The more closely I look
The less I leave behind

Taking without giving
Loot without concern
I take not just my due
But all that I can find

I like this.  It describes you [if this is about you] very well.  Great work on this!
