First I would like to thank anybody out there who actually takes the time to read any of the things that I write. I can't say for certain that you will find it to be worthwhile, but I hope you do. My life has not exactly been the most interesting, though it has had it's challenges. For now a simple walk through will suffice. I was born in Denver in September 1984. My family moved to Nebraska a few months later and I've lived in the mid-west ever since. For reasons that are both debatable and far too complicated to get into, I was never a popular child. My life away from home was often little more than a series of barely successful attempts to maintain my sanity in a world that for me was mostly a constant lesson in fear and violence. Writing became my sanctuary at a very young age. Adulthood has proven to be much more bearable, but my passion for writing has never subsided. Until now I have simply written for my own benefit and that of my close friends. Recently I've been convinced to put myself out there and let the world decide for itself whether I have anything to say worth hearing. Most of what you will find on here is poetry, which I have been writing for as long as I can remember. Short stories may make the occasional appearance as well. My major project right now is a series of novels which you will hear more about the closer they get to completion. I do also paint, but you will probably not see any of those on here.
